Served with an eviction in Tehama County?
Your written answer is due within 10 days of being served, not counting weekends or court holidays, under Code of Civil Procedure section 1167 as amended by AB 2347. Service by mail adds five court days. Miss it and the landlord can take a default judgment without a hearing, so the answer comes first and everything else comes second.
